
The Rubicon Centre on Munster Technological University’s (MTU) Cork Campus was the setting for the Cork Phase 2 Showcase event, celebrating the graduation of the most recent New Frontiers cohort.
Ciara Concannon, National New Frontiers Programme Manager at Enterprise Ireland, was joined by Hugh McGlynn (VP of Innovation & Enterprise at MTU) and colleagues from the Local Enterprise Offices, Cork County Council, Cork City Council, Axis BIC, as well as the wider Innovation & Enterprise team to hear pitches from the 13 founders who took part in the programme.
Speaking at the event, Professor Hugh McGlynn remarked, “We are delighted to recognise the achievements of the 2025/2026 participants of the Enterprise Ireland New Frontiers programme at the Rubicon Centre, MTU. As they join MTU’s growing alumni community of startup entrepreneurs, we hope they will continue to avail of the many supports and opportunities MTU offers to assist entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey. This year’s Enterprise Ireland New Frontiers companies bring a diverse range of innovative solutions to Irish and international markets, addressing both business and consumer needs. Their ideas and ventures have the potential to make a meaningful impact across Ireland and internationally in the years ahead.”

Darren has created safe, effective, and sustainable bio-fertilisers resulting in the growth of ‘Solution Grass’ for the equine industry.
