At the end of March, 11 startup founders, who have recently completed the six-month Phase 2 of the New Frontiers programme, were celebrated at a graduation showcase in the Learning and Innovation Centre (LINC) on TU Dublin’s Blanchardstown Campus.
In her opening remarks, Programme Manager Sarah Dunleavy congratulated the founders, saying, “Each of these entrepreneurs has embarked on a unique journey, overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities to make a difference in their respective fields. Their resilience has been truly inspiring — as you all know, the entrepreneurial journey is filled with ups and downs, and this group met every challenge with determination and optimism […] Seeing their growth, their commitment, and their support for each other has been incredibly rewarding. Thank you all for the positivity, energy, and curiosity you brought to the programme.”
The event showcased the progress of the participating founders through videos, speeches, certificate presentations, and prize‑giving. The audience also heard from Ciara Concannon, National New Frontiers Programme Manager at Enterprise Ireland; Niall Shanley, Senior Manager for Enterprise Engagement at TU Dublin, and Majella Murphy, Head of Acceleration at Furthr. Congratulations to the three award-winners:
- Fingal LEO Prize: Teri Kelly of Total Reputation (a €1,000 cash prize, presented by Rose McGahan)
- Philip Lee Prize: Cillian Griffith of Covy Watersport (a €10,000 in legal fees prize, presented by Hugo Grattiola)
- Best Showcase Stand Prize: Conor O’Keeffe of Altar Nutrition (three months of hotdesking space, presented by Rory O’Neil from the TU Dublin Incubation Team)
